Valid Paths to Publishing–and what to watch out for!
There are three major paths to publishing. I can offer your students a glance into the pros and cons of large-scale traditional, small-scale traditional, and self/indie publishing. This is a how-to seminar.
Generating Creative Ideas
How do you know what to write? Where do those ideas come from? In this hands-on workshop, I will take your students on a journey through their film and literary lives to see what sparks their imagination. We will then talk about how to structure that into a fully formed story.
Personal Author Journey
In this author talk, I will discuss my own personal author journey, the classes I have taken, what has helped and what hasn’t, and how I ended up with my publishers.
